When Stiffness Keeps Returning

Focused hands-on care, with access to a broader physiotherapy plan.

If symptoms keep returning, physiotherapy in the same clinic can assess movement, strength, working positions and daily demands. This can guide suitable exercises, practical adjustments and a plan for persistent pain or stiffness.
Ask about coordinating a separate physiotherapy appointment in one visit, subject to clinical suitability and availability. Our ground-floor C.I. Tower clinic is about two minutes from New Malden station.

Your First Soft Tissue Therapy Visit

Assessment, focused hands-on care and a clear next step.

01

Discuss your goals

Tell us where you feel tight or stiff, when you notice it and what you want to do more comfortably.

02

Assess and agree

Your therapist assesses the area, checks suitability and agrees the focus of your first visit with you.

03

Focused hands-on care

Pressure and techniques are adapted to your response. Tell your therapist what feels comfortable; care need not be painful.

04

Agree your next step

Discuss self-care, what felt helpful and whether a follow-up or another assessment would suit your needs.

Soft Tissue Therapy, Massage or Physiotherapy?

For a particular muscle concern

Desk-related tightness, overworked muscles after activity or an area that keeps drawing your attention may be reasons to consider soft tissue therapy. Start with the 45-minute assessment and treatment visit. Describe when you notice the problem so your therapist can discuss whether this service suits you.

For injury assessment and rehabilitation

Physiotherapy may be the better first step for a new injury, a problem needing clinical diagnosis or a broader rehabilitation plan. It is a separate service delivered by an HCPC-registered physiotherapist. If you are unsure, ask our team before booking so the appointment matches your main goal.

For time to unwind

Choose Relaxation & Deep Tissue Massage when your priority is a massage at your preferred pressure, with time to rest and attention to chosen areas. Book 30 minutes (£45), 60 minutes (£70) or 90 minutes (£100) directly. A separate initial assessment is not required for that service.

Choose the time your plan needs

After your first visit, follow-ups cost £60 for 30 minutes, £85 for 45, £100 for 60 or £160 for 90. Discuss which length fits the agreed work. A longer appointment provides more time; it does not automatically mean a better result or replace the right assessment.

Soft Tissue Therapy FAQs

Which appointment should I book first?

New to this service? Choose the 45-minute Initial Assessment & Treatment (£70). The booking button on this page takes you directly to that appointment.

How is this different from physiotherapy?

Soft tissue therapy focuses on muscles and related soft tissues. It is not a physiotherapy diagnosis or rehabilitation appointment. Ask us if you are unsure which service suits you.

How much are follow-up sessions?

Follow-up options are 30 minutes £60, 45 minutes £85, 60 minutes £100 and 90 minutes £160. Your therapist can help you choose an appropriate length.

Would a relaxation massage suit me better?

Choose Relaxation & Deep Tissue Massage for a massage-led session at your preferred pressure. Choose soft tissue therapy for an assessment-led visit focused on specific concerns.
