Shoulder Pain Is More Serious Than It Seems
Shoulder pain is frequently underestimated — and left too long.
The earlier it's treated, the better the outcome.
70% of all shoulder pain
is caused by rotator cuff disorders.
— British Elbow and Shoulder Society
/ PMC, 2016
Shoulder pain is the 3rd most common musculoskeletal complaint
in UK primary care,
after lower back and knee pain.
— British Journal of General Practice, 2014
40-50% of people
with shoulder pain still have symptoms
6–12 months later.
Early, targeted treatment makes
a significant difference.

How We Treat Shoulder Pain & Rotator Cuff Injuries
We don't offer a standard protocol.
Every treatment at J&J Therapy begins with understanding your body — and is built entirely around what you need.
Hands-on care is at the heart of everything we do. Whether you come in for physiotherapy or massage, our therapists work directly on your muscles, joints, and soft tissue — identifying the source of your pain and treating it with precision. Your condition, your history, and your goals shape every decision we make.
Start with Physiotherapy
Best if you want a full clinical assessment, have a complex or long-standing condition, or need records for insurance purposes.
Your first session is an Initial Assessment — your physiotherapist reviews your history, identifies the root cause of your pain, and builds a personalised treatment plan. This plan is carefully selected from a range of eight clinical treatment techniques, using only the most effective methods for your condition. Your expected recovery timeline is also recommended based on your individual needs.
Follow-up sessions draw on a full range of clinical techniques, tailored to your condition at every visit. Hands-on treatment is included in every session — including your first appointment.
