Your Questions, Answered (FAQs)
FAQs
Have questions about your visit? We’ve grouped our most frequently asked questions into three parts
— before, during, and after your session — to help guide you every step of the way.
-
4. Do I need to arrive early?Yes, we recommend arriving 5–10 minutes before your appointment to check in and prepare for your session without feeling rushed.
-
2. Do I need to pay a deposit?Yes — we require a deposit for all appointments to confirm your booking. This helps us prepare your session and manage our schedule effectively. For full details, please see our Refunds & Deposits Policy before booking.
-
8. Is there parking nearby? We don’t have our own parking facilities, so if you're driving, please plan to find a spot in the local area. We're just a 2-minute walk from New Malden station and a major bus stop, making public transport one of the easiest and most convenient ways to reach us.
-
5. Should I tell you about my medical conditions or medications?Absolutely. Please inform us of any medical conditions, injuries, or medications you're taking. This helps us tailor the session to your needs and ensure your safety.
-
7. What is your cancellation policy?Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours in advance to avoid a cancellation fee. While you’re always welcome to contact us, we recommend using your confirmation link to reschedule or cancel online, as it’s the quickest and easiest way to manage your booking. For full details, please refer to our Cancellation Policy.
-
3. What should I wear?No need to worry — we provide clean, freshly laundered treatment wear for every client. You’ll have time and space to change comfortably before your session. Just come dressed in something easy to change out of, and we’ll take care of the rest.
-
1. How do I book a session? We recommend booking through our website, as it's the quickest and most convenient way. If you’re unable to book online, you're welcome to send us a text or give us a call. If we’re unable to answer the phone, we’ll see your number and return your call as soon as possible. You’ll receive a confirmation by email or text once your booking is complete.
-
6. Can I choose a male or female therapist? You're welcome to request a male or female therapist, and we'll do our best to match your preference. Just keep in mind that choosing a specific therapist may affect availability, and your appointment might not be at the earliest possible time. Please let us know your preference at the time of booking so we can accommodate you as best as we can.
-
3. What if I feel uncomfortable or in pain during the session? Please tell us right away. Whether it’s pressure, temperature, or positioning, we can adjust anything to ensure your comfort and safety.
-
1. What happens when I arrive? You’ll be welcomed by our team and asked to fill out a short intake form if it’s your first visit. Then your therapist will briefly discuss your needs before beginning the session. When you arrive, just ring the bell and a staff member will come to let you in.
-
2. What will I wear during the session? Will I be covered? You’ll be provided with clean, freshly laundered treatment wear prepared just for you. During the session, you’ll always be properly draped — only the area being treated will be uncovered. Your privacy and comfort are fully respected at all times.
-
6. Will you keep a record of my treatments? With your consent, we securely store treatment notes so we can track your progress and tailor future sessions to your needs.
-
5. When should I book my next session? That depends on your goals and your therapist’s recommendations. For general wellness, a session every 2–4 weeks is common. For injury recovery or ongoing issues, more frequent visits may be advised.
-
4. Can I shower after my session?Absolutely. You can shower at any time after your treatment, but we suggest waiting at least 30 minutes to let your body fully absorb the effects of the session — especially after massages involving oils.
-
3. Is there anything I should do after my session? We recommend drinking plenty of water, avoiding intense physical activity for a few hours, and taking time to rest. Your therapist may also suggest light stretches or simple exercises tailored to your needs to help maintain the benefits of the session. You’ll receive specific advice depending on the treatment you received.
-
6. What if I have questions after I leave? No problem! You’re always welcome to reach out via email, text message, or through our website if anything comes up after your visit. We’ll do our best to reply to your message as soon as possible.
-
2. Will I feel sore after the treatment? Some mild soreness or tenderness is normal, particularly after deep tissue work or physiotherapy. It should subside within 24–48 hours and is a natural part of your body’s healing response.
-
1. Can I go back to work or carry on with my day?In most cases, yes — though you may feel very relaxed or slightly tired after your session. We recommend allowing some time for rest if possible, especially after your first visit.
