Neck, shoulder pain

Common neck and shoulder pain experienced by modern
people is caused by Forward head posture.
In this posture, the muscles in the neck and shoulders are excessively used without relaxation, resulting in the formation of 'taut band' and developing into chronic pain.
Pain caused by this 'taut band' can also cause severe headaches or discomfort in the eyes.

If you overuse the muscles in your neck and shoulders, taut bands can form, causing the muscles to become stiff and unable to relax.
Recovery time can vary from one week to more than 2-3 months, and symptoms can worsen over time. Therefore,

Treatment for neck and shoulder

The fundamental cause of neck and shoulder pain is typically attributed to improper posture.
Particularly, the forward head posture can excessively strain the neck and shoulder muscles, leading to the formation of taut bands within the muscles.
This not only intensifies pain but also tends to persist for a long time.
Posture correction therapy can take a considerable amount of time.
Therefore, we are using shockwave therapy and electrical therapy to assist with the relaxation of the taut bands and muscles, and to swiftly alleviate shoulder pain while concurrently conducting posture correction massage.
However, it's crucial to note that managing one's posture is primarily an individual's responsibility.
Hence, we also educate on self-exercise methods to provide a more effective treatment.

The effectiveness of shockwave therapy for neck and shoulder.

 

Taut band is one of the causes of chronic neck and shoulder muscle pain. Shockwave therapy effectively eliminates this taut band, providing a long-term solution rather than temporary relief. Therefore, shockwave therapy is highly effective in alleviating chronic muscle pain by removing the underlying cause.

When receiving shock wave therapy, blood vessels widen, increasing blood circulation. This helps to remove accumulated fatigue substances caused by excessive use of neck and shoulder muscles, reduce inflammation, and alleviate pain.
